The New York City Century Bike Tour is coming up this Sunday, September 13th and your very own BIG!NYC will be hosting the composting and recycling for the event. There will be 6000 riders expected this year, that means quite a bit of recyclable and compostable material. It also means that we will need a LOT of help to take care of it. We're working with Two Coves Community Garden and Queens Compost Project but we need YOUR help as well. Volunteers are needed for compost stations in Prospect Park, Battery Park, and Astoria Park.
For more information or to volunteer, email Max@bignyc.org
Anyone willing to accept the compost from any of the locations should contact us as well.
